Description
This solicitation is for the procurement of two Bafco Model 775 Hydraulic Rotary Actuators. The actuators must be hydraulic-powered with 90-degree rotary motion suitable for modulating service, have an operating pressure rating of 2,800 PSI, and an approximate actuation speed of 2-3 seconds. A key requirement is the integration of LVDT position feedback. The actuators must be in a spring-return configuration and include all standard accessories and hardware necessary for installation. Crating and packaging appropriate for shipment to Stennis Space Center are also required. The vendor must provide documentation including estimated lead time, warranty information, and shipping details. All equipment delivered must be new, free of defects, and compliant with applicable industry and facility standards. This is a brand-name requirement, as BAFCO hydraulic actuators are necessary due to their exact form, fit, and functional compatibility with existing Stennis Space Center valve systems, including proven compatibility with LOX and high-pressure applications. Using an alternative vendor would necessitate redesigning interfaces, updating controls, and requalifying the system, leading to increased costs and schedule delays.
