Description
The City of Gainesville is seeking qualified firms to serve as the Commissioning Agent for the Eastside Bus Transfer Facility project. This project is currently in the bidding process. The scope of work includes reviewing design phase commissioning services, developing and implementing a commissioning plan, and performing site observations and on-site commissioning activities. The role also involves reviewing contractor submittals, ensuring LEED Fundamental and Enhanced Commissioning standards are met, and developing monitoring-based commissioning procedures. Key qualifications for the Commissioning Agent include a minimum of 5 years of commissioning experience on comparable projects, with at least 3 completed projects of similar size and complexity. Experience with public-sector facilities, particularly transit facilities, and familiarity with relevant standards such as ASHRAE and LEED are required.
