Description
The New York City Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS) is soliciting bids for General Motors cars. This is a requirement contract with an anticipated period of performance from October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2031. The solicitation requires vendors to provide genuine replacement/repair parts for General Motors cars. Vendors must submit their proposals through the Procurement and Sourcing Solutions Portal (PASSPort). A Manufacturer's Certificate is required prior to award, confirming that the vendor manufactures the commodities specified or is authorized by the manufacturer as a distributor. Failure to submit this certificate with the bid package may result in the bid being deemed non-responsive. All items awarded under this contract must comply with New York City's Mayor's Executive Order No. 113, prohibiting the purchase of products made of polystyrene foam. Additionally, packaging should aim to eliminate waste and contain recycled content where possible. The contract is subject to various local laws and may require reporting on products specified by the City that appear in the New York City EPPM minimum standards for goods.
