Description
The USGS California Water Science Center requires the delivery of twin 150Hp outboard engines and accessories for a work vessel used to service a network of gaging stations. The engines must be 4-stroke, in-line, 150Hp with a full throttle RPM range of 5000-6000, and employ Digital Electronic Control (DEC) technology. Key features include power trim/tilt, mechanical steering, an EFI fuel induction system, a 10-micron fuel/water separating filter, and a 3-year warranty. The requirement includes one engine with standard clockwise rotation and one with counter-clockwise rotation. Additional accessories needed for installation include a twin engine control box with integral power and start/stop features, a twin engine key switch panel, engine harnesses, a multi-function display kit, an engine harness, a 3-foot pigtail harness, a 10-foot main bus harness, two fuel/water separators, a tilt helm unit assembly, a tilt helm unit, helm harnesses, SCU link harnesses, and 3-blade stainless steel propellers (one RH and one LH rotation). A 13 1/2-inch stainless steel steering wheel with a control knob is also required. All components must comply with relevant IT security and accessibility standards.
