Description
The U.S. Naval Hospital Naples requires two Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics VITROS 5600 chemistry analyzers, including associated reagents and supplies. The contract will also encompass full-risk maintenance for both analyzers and application support services. On-site training will be provided annually. The analyzers must be suitable for mid-volume, routine chemistry analysis, utilize microslide technology, minimize interference, and have a throughput of up to 250 results per hour with 40+ on-board chemistries. They must also interface bi-directionally with the laboratory information system, MHS Genesis. The period of performance is a 12-month base period with four 12-month option periods, totaling 60 months, with an additional 6-month extension possible under FAR 52.217-8. The contract type would be Firm Fixed Price (FFP). The applicable NAICS code is 325413, In Vitro Diagnostic Substance Manufacturing. Equipment, supplies, and associated support will be provided at the U.S. Naval Hospital Naples, Italy.
