Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 17, is seeking information for a Molecular Testing Platform for the Amarillo VA Health Care System (AVAHCS) and its Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) in Lubbock, TX; Dalhart, TX; Childress, TX; and Clovis, NM. The requirement is for replacement analyzers capable of performing molecular testing, including sample preparation, amplification, detection, and analysis, meeting CLIA and CLSI performance standards, and approved by the FDA. The solicitation is for a firm Cost per Patient Reportable Result (CPRR) fixed contract for Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ). This CPRR program will include equipment use, all reagents, standards, quality controls, supplies, consumables, parts, accessories, service, training, and associated expenses. The equipment must be the newest and most current model, FDA-approved, and capable of performing specific PCR assays with a turnaround time of 90 minutes or less. Key requirements include bi-directional interface capabilities with the VistA hospital information system/Cerner LIS, specific equipment footprint limitations, and provision of a UPS system. The vendor will be responsible for delivery, installation, validation, training, and ongoing maintenance and service, including a 24-hour/7-day service hotline and a 24-hour response time for emergency repairs. The contract is expected to begin on October 1, 2026, with the current contract ending on September 30, 2026.
