Description
The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) requires one Dual MRI Infusion System with additional accessories to replace the current failing and malfunctioning MRI-compatible pump. The pump system supports multiple pharmacological imaging studies and is critical to a current study that will come to a halt should the current pump fail. The required pump must be fully compatible in all form, fit, and function aspects with the current system installed and must be able to be fully integrated into the existing MRI system with minimal training due to the time sensitivity of the need. The new system must meet the following salient characteristics: 10-digit keypad entry, adaptable for use with conventional intravenous pumps, non-magnetic design allowing placement up to the 10,000 Gauss Line, and a large LCD display. The solicitation is being issued non-competitively to Iradimed Corporation under NAICS code 339112.
