Description
The United States Army Medical Research Institute for Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID) requires a license for a web-based cheminformatics platform. This platform must be accessible via modern web browsers without client-side software installation. It needs to index over 250 million chemical substances and 70 million protein and nucleic acid sequences, and be manually curated for reproducibility. The platform should also index over 150 million chemical reactions, provide predictive retrosynthetic analysis, and integrate with life sciences content such as bioactivity, toxicology, and pharmacology. Additionally, it must support property-based searches, integrate with chemical vendor catalogs, and trace data to primary literature sources. The platform will support chemical research including drug development, chemical reactions, drug metabolism, and prior art for intellectual property rights. The solicitation is a Request for Quote (RFQ) with an offer due date of June 30, 2026.
