Description
The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) requires maintenance and repair services for four Kardex Remstar Shuttle XP500 systems located at their Inventory Control Point (ICP) warehouse in Baltimore, Maryland. These systems are critical for storing and accessing parts for the Coast Guard fleet. The contract will include both software and mechanical services. Software services include web-based technical assistance for issues such as picking program malfunctions or incorrect location data, minor software updates, and 24/7 telephone support for system down and critical issues. Mechanical services involve bi-annual maintenance for each of the four Kardex XP500 Shuttle Systems. This maintenance includes inspection, cleaning, lubrication, and adjustments. The contractor must be an authorized factory sales and service dealer for Kardex Remstar equipment and possess company-sponsored certification. Labor, mileage, and all expenses are included in the service agreement. Two scheduled maintenance inspections will be performed annually on each unit, with detailed reports provided to the COR. Any repairs or replacement parts not covered under the service contract require prior quote approval from the COR. Service calls and repairs are available during business hours, with 24/7 help desk support for hardware and a two-business-day response time for on-site support during business hours. All deliveries must be made Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM and 1:00 PM.
