Description
This solicitation is for a contract to provide maintenance and preventive services for one government-owned Sony LE MA900 system, utilized for sorting cancer patients' cells in ongoing clinical trial research. The services must be performed on-site in accordance with the manufacturer's standard commercial maintenance practices. The scope of work includes three planned preventive maintenance services per contract period, conducted by technically qualified, factory-trained personnel. These services will involve thorough cleaning, calibration, adjustment, inspection, and testing to ensure optimal equipment performance. Additionally, the contract covers on-site emergency repair services during normal working hours (Monday-Friday, excluding Federal Holidays), with a one-hour initial response and a four-hour on-site response time for qualified factory-trained personnel. All labor and travel for emergency services are included. The contractor will also supply new, original equipment specification replacement parts (excluding consumables) for next-day delivery. Software services and updates, along with unlimited 24/7 telephone technical support for troubleshooting and clinical application support (Monday-Friday, 8 am-9 pm), are required. Remote service support for software and instrument calibration by Sony Biosciences is also included. The contract explicitly excludes repairs due to abuse, neglect, vandalism, Acts of God, fire, or water. Personnel performing services must have a minimum of three years of factory training and experience with the Sony LE MA900 system.
