Description
The City of Newport News is requesting bids for Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) Units. The solicitation specifies several models including the HL7000 Professional Leak Sounding Kit, C3 Pro, SmartEAR KIT, and Poseydon Connect-5. Substitutions are not permitted for this purchase. Contractors must be qualified to provide the specified goods and have the necessary experience. The award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder based on the total quote. The contract will be issued via Purchase Order. The City requires adequate liability insurance and the contractor must provide proof of insurance prior to commencing services. Goods delivered must be standard new and unused equipment, the latest model, unless otherwise stated. The contractor warrants that the goods/services furnished will be of the highest quality and free from defects for a minimum of one year.
