Description
This notice of intent indicates the government's plan to award a sole source purchase order for fully managed Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) remote monitoring, maintenance, reporting, and lifecycle management services. These services are for standby generators and domestic water storage monitoring systems located at United States Government-owned and leased facilities in Kampala, Uganda. The contractor will be responsible for all operational risk and maintenance liability, including all deployed hardware, data communication, and application software integrations. This includes providing all necessary management, labor, supervision, software, equipment, communications infrastructure, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, reporting, lifecycle replacement, technical support, and restoration services to ensure uninterrupted remote monitoring functionality. This is a sole source requirement under NAICS code 334519 and PSC code Z1NA, citing 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) and FAR Part 6.302-1, as Efficiencie Ltd is considered the only responsible source that can satisfy the agency's requirements.
