Description
NASA/NSSC requires a customized Tenney TJR test chamber. The system will be used to maintain specific temperatures during irradiation for studying radiation-induced chemistry in mineral samples. The contractor shall modify a standard Tenney TJR test chamber by relocating all semiconductor components to a control chassis outside the radiation environment, connecting it via 35 feet of pluggable interconnect wiring. The wiring's maximum outside diameter must pass through a 3-inch ID opening. The test chamber must be on a cart with wheels for relocation, and power will be supplied to the remote control chassis. The place of performance is NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC), Building 22 Room 070A. Delivery of the completed system is required before July 15, 2026.
