Description
This is an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) solicitation for liquid argon technical grade (99.98% by volume) supplied in contractor-owned 5850 cubic foot dewar tanks with wheels. The argon must meet MIL-A-18455C specifications and be filtered to 10 micrometers. The contract includes requirements for data deliverables such as Material Safety Data Sheets and Certificates of Analysis. The contractor will be responsible for providing startup training, maintenance, repair, and replacement services for the dewars. Response times for technician arrival are 24 hours, equipment repair is 48 hours, and equipment replacement is 72 hours. Deliveries are to be made to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery, Maine, Monday through Friday between 0730 and 1500 local time. The period of performance is a 12-month base period with four 1-year option periods.
