Description
This solicitation is a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the repair of the GLS Administration Building's air conditioner unit. The work is being solicited as a Total Small Business Set Aside under FAR Part 12 for commercial services. The NAICS code for this opportunity is 238220 - Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, and materials necessary to repair the existing Trane CRHM300A-4HAT 30-ton, 208V three-phase air conditioner unit, which is inoperable due to a lack of refrigerant. The scope of work includes troubleshooting and repairing refrigerant leaks, servicing with R-407C refrigerant, performing a complete leak test, evaluating system integrity, cleaning the condenser unit, and ensuring proper system performance. All work must comply with applicable HVAC and refrigerant handling regulations, including EPA 608 requirements, and must be performed by licensed HVAC technicians certified to handle R-407C refrigerant. The contractor shall complete all work within 15 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. The place of performance and acceptance is the GLS Administration Building, located at 180 Andrews Street, Massena, NY 13662.
