Description
Brookhaven Science Associates, operating for the U.S. Department of Energy, is seeking a 200kV cold-field-emission-gun high-resolution transmission electron microscope (HRTEM) / scanning transmission electron microscope (STEM). The instrument is intended for advanced materials science research, enabling high-resolution imaging, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), electron energy-loss spectroscopy (EELS), and nanoscale electron diffraction. The scope of work includes the engineering, procurement, manufacturing, assembly, inspection, testing, delivery, installation, commissioning, and training for the microscope. The contractor will be responsible for providing a complete system that meets stringent technical specifications and safety standards. Key deliverables include a program plan, preliminary and final technical designs, factory acceptance testing reports, and on-site commissioning.
