Description
The City of Los Angeles, through its Department of General Services, is soliciting bids for fire hoses. The solicitation includes two specific types: TPX Snap-Tite custom hoses (4" x 50", yellow TPX nitrile hose with 4" NH RL Red Head couplings) and Durabuilt 800 DJ hoses (2.5" x 50', DJ white ultra-shield coated, with CPLD stamped alum EX-NST, Action couplings). These hoses must meet or exceed NFPA 1961 and NFPA 1963 standards, and comply with Los Angeles Fire Department Specification FD 299-R11.
