Description
The City of Columbia is soliciting bids for road resurfacing projects on various streets, divided into two lots. Lot 1 includes Brassington Lane, Kimberly Street, and Fitzgibbon Drive, requiring milling of the existing surface to a depth of two inches, application of two inches of compacted Hot Mix Asphalt (Surface Type C), and installation of temporary and permanent pavement markings. Lot 2 covers Parkridge Drive, also requiring two inches of milling and asphalt resurfacing, along with the installation of traffic control loops and pavement markings. Bidders are required to submit separate pricing for each lot. The project also includes requirements for contractor licensing, adherence to SCDOT standards, and specific periods of performance for each lot, including time for contract closeout.
