Description
This solicitation is for a one-time Track VAT Dip Cleaning service at the DLA Distribution Red River facility in Texarkana, TX. The scope of work includes the removal of solvent/dried-on preservative/contaminants and sludge from the entire track dipper system, including the vat, lid, drip tray, heated wind tunnel drying oven, overhead conveyor systems, ground level conveyor systems, flooring, and interior walls. All waste will be containerized and staged for disposal by the contractor in coordination with DLA. The work requires mechanical cleaning of all system components to maximize the removal of contaminants. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary equipment, materials, control components, supervision, and labor, with the exception of waste collection containers which will be provided by the Government. The contractor must adhere to all safety and environmental compliance standards, including OSHA and EPA regulations, and will be responsible for any damage to Government property caused during the performance of the work. The period of performance is estimated to be two weeks or as negotiated.
