The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is soliciting bids for roadway improvements, asphalt repairs, and surface treatments at their Fort Collins, Colorado campus. The project includes entrance road improvements, crack sealing, major crack repair, concrete drain pan replacement, asphalt separation at building interfaces, and slurry seal application. The contractor will be responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and transportation necessary to complete these tasks in accordance with all applicable regulations. The scope of work involves tasks such as regrading roadways for proper drainage, compacting subgrade and base material, saw-cutting and removing damaged asphalt sections, excavating and replacing road base, and applying slurry seal to designated areas. The contractor must also provide and maintain traffic control throughout the project, ensuring safe access to buildings and facilities at all times. Safety is a key concern, with requirements for a site-specific safety plan, provision of safety-related equipment, and training for personnel. The period of performance for this contract is 180 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. The solicitation is a Firm-Fixed-Price contract and is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Offers are due by July 28, 2026.
