Description
The 375th Contracting Squadron at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive maintenance, repair, and inspection services for thirty-two (32) Vertical Transportation Equipment (VTE) units across the installation. This includes monthly preventive maintenance, routine repairs, and all required safety testing, ensuring continuous, safe, and reliable operation in accordance with ASME A17.1 standards. The contractor must maintain a minimum 98% overall VTE availability rate and adhere to strict emergency response times. The contract will be a Requirements Contract with a five-year ordering period, starting with a Base Year plus four Option Years for routine services. "Over and Above" repairs and parts will be handled via separate task orders. This acquisition is a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside. Award will be made on a Best Value Tradeoff basis, with Past Performance being significantly more important than Technical and Price combined.
