Description
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) requires a maintenance contract for a Solar Turbines Taurus 3500kwnatural gas turbine and related equipment located at their facility in Ames, Iowa. The contract will include OEM-authorized service and maintenance, utilizing only OEM-approved parts. The period of performance is one 12-month base year with one 12-month option year. Services include scheduled maintenance inspections (4,000 and 8,000-hour intervals), condition assessments, and emergency response. The contractor must provide labor, travel, and subsistence for these services. Key personnel must have at least 10 years of experience servicing Solar Turbine generators and operating the generator via an ISO/PMCS control system, with technicians authorized by the OEM and at least 2 years of experience. The contractor must also comply with specific insurance requirements, including Workers' Compensation, General Liability, and Automobile Liability.
