Description
The Iowa Department of Administrative Services, Central Procurement, is soliciting bids for water rescue equipment and supplies, including personal water protective gear and flotation devices. These items are intended for use in marine law enforcement, water training, and rescue events. The resulting contract(s) will be available to all State Agencies and Political Subdivisions within Iowa. Estimated usage for 2025 includes various types of Personal Flotation Devices (PFDs), flotation bibs, ice rescue suits, and emergency throw bags. The contract term will begin on July 28, 2026, and end on July 27, 2027, with the option for up to five annual extensions. Bidders must be able to satisfy all specified requirements, and successful bidders will be responsible for providing samples if requested. All products must be of first quality and guaranteed to be free of defects. Bidders must also certify that the product offered is equal to or greater quality than specified.
