Description
The City of Clermont is soliciting proposals for a comprehensive, turnkey public electric vehicle (EV) charging station program. The selected vendor will be responsible for all aspects of the program, including site evaluation and selection, furnishing and installing Level 3 charging equipment, completing necessary electrical and site improvements, obtaining permits, and coordinating with utility providers. Additionally, the vendor will manage the ongoing operation and maintenance of the charging stations, provide customer support, submit usage and revenue reports, and propose a revenue-sharing model with the City. The primary goal is to expand public EV charging infrastructure at no upfront cost to the City, offering a valuable public amenity and a potential new revenue stream.
