Description
The County of San Diego is seeking quotes from qualified firms to provide as-needed federal premium ammunition that is lead-free. This ammunition is required for the San Diego County Probation Department's training and operational settings to comply with state law and board policy. The ammunition must be factory-new, non-remanufactured, and contain no more than one percent lead by weight. Specific calibers required include 40 CAL (147 GR, FMJ, 985fps), 9mm (147 GR, FMJ, 1000fps), and 223 (55 GR, TMJ with lead-free primer). The contractor must ensure all products are compatible with department-issued firearms and suitable for indoor and outdoor firing ranges, providing timely order fulfillment, consistent lot-numbered packaging, product documentation, and delivery to the designated county facility at 10111 Carroll Canyon Road, San Diego, CA 92131.
