Description
The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is soliciting quotes for secure courier services to support the Kansas City Submission Processing Center (KCSPC). This service is crucial for the timely transportation of taxpayer remittances, checks, deposit slips, and associated documentation to designated financial institutions, ensuring the continuous deposit of Federal revenues and the smooth operation of IRS financial processes. The contractor will be responsible for providing dedicated and secure courier services, including daily pickups and deliveries, support during peak filing seasons, weekly cash deliveries, and on-call services. All services must adhere to strict IRS security, disclosure, privacy, and safeguard requirements, including those outlined in the Privacy Act of 1974 and relevant Internal Revenue Code sections. The government intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price contract to the responsible small business offeror with the lowest evaluated price that meets all requirements specified in the Statement of Work (SOW).
