Description
The Military Sealift Command is soliciting proposals for a dry cargo time charter. The requirement is for a self-sustaining, U.S. or foreign flag vessel capable of carrying a minimum of 105,000 square feet of military cargo. The vessel must have a minimum laden speed of 15 knots. The charter period is approximately 35 days, with laydays commencing on August 4, 2026. The place of delivery is Pohang, Republic of Korea, and the place of redelivery is San Diego, CA, USA. Proposals must include a ship name, price, and signature. The evaluation will be based on technical acceptability and the lowest price, with considerations for VISA participation and domestic shipyard usage.
