Description
The City of Fullerton is requesting proposals from qualified consultants for the development of a Parks and Recreation Master Plan. This plan will involve evaluating existing facilities, parks, and trails, analyzing future needs, and outlining phased improvements based on current and forecasted population trends. The scope of work includes community outreach and education strategies, assessment of community demographics and trends, benchmarking against peer agencies, inventory and assessment of existing parks and facilities, program assessment, needs analysis, equity mapping, gap analysis, development of priorities and a capital improvement plan, funding and revenue strategies, and an economic value and cost recovery analysis. The selected consultant will also be responsible for updating the City's GIS system and developing a comprehensive final Master Plan report, including presentations to various city bodies. The City intends to enter into a professional services agreement with the selected consultant for a term of three (3) years.
