Description
The Town of Enfield, North Carolina is seeking sealed proposals for its Phase 7 Wastewater Treatment Plant Project. The scope of work includes furnishing all materials, labor, and equipment necessary for the replacement of existing sewage sludge and scumpumps, replacement of a 5hp and 15hp floating aerators and a 15hp floating mixer, equipment electrical control panels, the rehabilitation of an existing 46ft. clarifier equipment, removal of sludge, sand, and debris from sludge holding tanks, replacing a 10ft by 12ft wood building, 60 linear feet of concrete sidewalk replacement, and installing a 2-inch sitewater line and yard hydrants. This project is funded in whole or in part by the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG) and is subject to federal requirements including Section 109, E.O. 11246, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Davis Bacon Act, Anti-Kickback Act, Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act, and the Build America, Buy America Act (BABA). Bidders must be registered and in good standing with SAM.gov and not on the NCDebarred Vendors list. Proposals must be submitted on the provided forms, enclosed in a sealed envelope, and addressed to the Mayor, Town of Enfield. The bidder's name, address, and licensing number must be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on June 25, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Enfield Town Hall. Bidders are encouraged to submit project-related questions to Brian Cox three business days prior to the pre-bid conference.
