Description
The USDA Forest Service is soliciting proposals for hazardous fuels reduction services in the post-Hurricane Helene National Forests in Western North Carolina. The work will be performed on steep and rugged terrain within the Wildland Urban Interface. Key activities include developing logging plans, constructing and closing landing areas, preparing and removing damaged timber and small roundwood material via helicopter, performing road maintenance, and hauling forest products. Landing restoration will be required upon completion of the work. This acquisition is set aside exclusively for small business concerns, with the North American Industry Classification Standard Code being 113310 and a small business size standard of 500 employees.
