Description
The Township of Wayne is soliciting bids for open-ended contracts for three categories of services: vehicle maintenance and non-collision repair services, vehicle collision repair services and body work, and vehicle parts. These contracts will cover a variety of Township-owned vehicles. The scope of work includes both minor and major maintenance and repairs for OEM and non-OEM vehicles, as well as collision repairs for all makes, models, and sizes of Township vehicles, including automobiles, trucks, vans, buses, trailers, fire apparatus, and ambulances. Bidders must possess the necessary facilities, equipment, and personnel to perform these services, and for collision repairs, specific certifications and endorsements may be required depending on the vehicle type. Parts supplied must be new and meet or exceed OEM quality standards. Contracts will be awarded by category and potentially by line item, based on the lowest responsive and responsible bids. The contract duration is up to two years, with the possibility of two additional one-year extensions. Bidders are required to submit detailed pricing proposals, including hourly labor rates and discounts/markups for parts, and must comply with all statutory requirements and certifications outlined in the solicitation documents.
