Description
Bartow County is soliciting Statements of Proposals from qualified firms for planning and engineering design services to assist with the update of the Cartersville Bartow Metropolitan Planning Organization's (CBMPO) FY 2055 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP). This project requires a firm to develop a new MTP using 2020 as the base year and 2055 as the future year, including data calibration, travel modeling, development of the MTP document, and comprehensive public outreach. The selected firm will be responsible for coordinating all project activities, preparing progress reports and invoices, managing sub-consultants, and ensuring quality assurance and control. The project is anticipated to be a Firm Fixed Price contract, with the intention that the agreement will remain in effect until the successful completion of the project. Key tasks include data analysis, travel modeling coordination with GDOT, developing updated MTP documents compliant with federal and state requirements, and conducting public outreach and stakeholder engagement. The final MTP document is expected to be completed and approved by GDOT, FTA, and FHWA by February 6, 2028.
