Description
Volusia County Water Resources & Utilities is soliciting bids for a replacement pump, motor, and base plate design. The new unit must be a like-for-like replacement for a Crane Deming pump and a Baldor Super E Severe Duty motor. The pump has a current specification of 10x8x17A, 2000 GPM at 180 feet of head, and the motor is 125 HP, 460 Volts. The location for this replacement is the Glenn Abbey Water Plant at 880 Signature Drive, Orange City, FL 32763. Vendors are required to submit pump curves for any proposed substitutes prior to June 24, 2026, for approval. The bid includes all associated costs, including freight, with delivery to 3151 East New York Ave., DeLand, FL 32724. The award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder based on total cost.
