Description
The State of Indiana, through the Department of Health, is seeking bids for a Quality Improvement (QI) consultant to develop and implement standardized procedures for lead testing. The engagement aims to increase lead testing rates among children aged 0-7, with a focus on 12 and 24-month-olds, and improve lead test reporting rates. The project will involve structured training sessions, data aggregation and analysis, guidance on available resources, and patient/caregiver education. The project timeline is 11 months, including 2 months for finances and procurement, 2 months for project preparation, 6 months for project sessions, and 1 month for closeout. Key performance indicators include increases in the percentage of children tested for lead at 12 and 24 months, and improvements in lead testing reporting rates.
