Description
This solicitation is for Alodized Aluminum Sheets that meet specific engineering specifications for use in the manufacturing of highway signs. The material required is non-heat-treated aluminum alloy 5052-H38, with precise thickness tolerances and flatness requirements. The finish must be Alodine, producing a light, tight iridescent coating free of powdery residue, and imparting increased corrosion resistance. Chemical composition and dimensional tolerances are strictly defined. The supplier must include mill certification with each material lot.
