Description
The State of Indiana, through the Department of Administration on behalf of the Family and Social Services Administration, is soliciting proposals for a feasibility study on alternate Medicaid payment models. This study, part of the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP), will explore the potential for a Rural Medicaid Accountable Care Organization (ACO) model and bundled payments for episodes of care. The contractor will assess the operational, programmatic, financial, and sustainability feasibility of these models, as well as provide policy, regulatory, and governance recommendations. Stakeholder engagement and analysis of health outcomes impact are also key components of the study. The contract term is for one year with four one-year optional periods, for a total of five years. The state has established goals for Minority Business Enterprises (8%), Woman Business Enterprises (11%), and Indiana Veteran Owned Small Businesses (3%) participation.
