Description
The State of Indiana, through the Department of Administration, is seeking a provider of hearing aids, devices, and related services for the Family and Social Services Administration - Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services (FSSA-DHHS). The contract will be for a period of five years with one optional one-year renewal. The estimated annual spend for this contract is approximately $1,000,000. The awarded vendor will be expected to provide a wide range of hearing aids, assistive listening devices, and associated services. Key requirements include offering a minimum 46% discount on all products, providing individual accounts per counselor or state agency, accepting orders via multiple channels, and including a two-year repair and one-year replacement warranty with all devices. The vendor must also have a staff audiologist available for consultations and provide yearly training on specific devices. Billing and invoicing procedures must be clearly defined, with separate billing and shipping addresses and no shipping or handling fees. The state also requires specific processes for returns, including a full refund for hearing aids and devices within ninety days and a sixty-day return policy for accessories.
