Description
The Mission Installation Contracting Command - Fort Leavenworth intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for a requirements-type contract for the purchase and installation of thirteen (13) ELKAY bottle filling stations, or an approved equal, for installation in existing facilities at the Presidio of Monterey, California. The contractor will be responsible for all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision required to deliver and install the units in eleven identified buildings. This includes the removal and disposal of all non-essential plumbing materials created during performance. All work must comply with applicable building codes, national plumbing codes, and contract standards, including ADA & ICC A117.1, ASME A112.19.3 / CSA B45.4, CAN/CSA C22.2 No. 120, GreenSpec®, NSF/ANSI 42, 53, 61,(Q1), NSF/ANSI 372 (lead free), NSF/ANSI 401, and UL 399. The contractor must demonstrate relevant plumbing experience and the ability to manage multiple task orders. The work also includes a requirement for sustainable management of waste, diverting 60% of demolition or construction material from landfill disposal. This procurement will use sealed bidding procedures. Offerors must be registered in SAM.gov prior to award. All contractor personnel will require local background clearance by the Presidio of Monterey.
