Description
The County of Solano, Department of Resource Management, Public Works Division, is soliciting bids for approximately 650 tons of Asphalt Emulsion Oil, Polymer-Modified Rejuvenating Emulsions (PMRE). The County will accept latex polymer, neoprene polymer, butadiene, or styrene copolymer, provided they meet specified parameters. Bidders will quote a price per ton delivered FOB various locations within Solano County, and this price must include the cost to spread the emulsion on the road surface. The actual quantity required may vary. This is a firm-fixed-price contract with a six-month period of performance, with the possibility of one-year extensions for up to two additional one-year terms, subject to contractor performance and funding. The County reserves the right to award to multiple vendors or to not necessarily award to the lowest bidder, but to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
