Description
The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center is seeking to procure 10 Profiseal bulkhead seals. The specific item required is a Profiseal bulkhead seal, part number 10.400.089.201A (new part number 04.088.9.01A), with National Stock Number (NSN) 2040 01-647-3379. This seal is designed for a 3.5" (88.9 MM) ID / 210 MM OD housing in aluminum, featuring a split design with two radially split sealing rings and a spring-loaded balancing system. It is watertight and includes a gasket. The solicitation specifies that all items listed in the attached parts list must be provided, and no substitutions will be authorized without approval from USCG Yard Technical Experts. Packaging must comply with MIL-STD-2073-1E, Method 10, using appropriate cushioning, dunnage, blocking, and bracing to protect the items during transit and storage. Commercial packaging that adequately protects the item through multiple shipments and storage is acceptable. Multi-packs are acceptable if items are individually packaged and shipped in the same container. Markings must adhere to MIL-STD-129R and be barcoded per ISO/IEC-16388-2007, Code 39 symbology. All material must be marked with the Purchase Order Number, NSN (if applicable), Vendor name, and Part Number on the exterior of all shipped materials. Deliveries are required by July 26, 2026, and must be made Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM and 1:00 PM to the U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center at 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Receiving Room- Building 88, Baltimore, MD 21226. Shipping is FOB Destination. An itemized packaging list must accompany all material, securely attached to the outside of the shipment, citing the Purchase Order Number. Invoicing for Purchase Orders must be processed through https://www.ipp.gov.
