Description
The City of Winston-Salem is soliciting bids for comprehensive improvements to Miller Park. The project scope includes the renovation of an existing restroom facility, installation of park safety lighting (to be completed by others), enhancements to the park trail system, increased accessibility to park amenities, and the addition of new park furnishings. A key objective is to bring the renovated trails into compliance with the 2026 guidelines for 'Universal Access Trails'. The project will involve the removal of mature trees, with an emphasis on minimizing removal and protecting existing trees in collaboration with the City and the Landscape Architect. This project has M/WBE subcontracting goals of 6% MBE and 4% WBE, which must be met separately.
