Description
The State of Connecticut, Office of the State Comptroller, is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for entities interested in providing qualified services and software solutions related to the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and Internal Revenue Code (IRC) Sections 6055 and 6056. The scope of services includes eligibility tracking, cost and risk modeling, unintended impact monitoring, compliance reporting, and ongoing support. The contract will be for a period of three years, commencing May 1, 2027, and expiring April 30, 2030. The selected bidder will be responsible for administering ACA reporting requirements, providing an online tool for data aggregation from multiple time and labor reporting systems, and offering consulting services for ACA compliance. Key tasks include collecting and analyzing HR, payroll, and enrollment data, completing and submitting IRS forms (1094-C, 1095-C, 1094-B, 1095-B), identifying non-compliance issues, and providing training and ongoing support.
