Description
The City of Lake City, Florida is soliciting bids for the removal and disposal of existing VCT tile, direct-glue carpet, and vinyl base, and the subsequent furnishing and installation of new VCT, 20oz carpet, cove base, adhesive, and transitions. This work will be performed in 17 classrooms and the Media Center across Buildings 7, 8, 10, and 14 at Five Points Elementary School. The project requires specific materials including Shaw Profusion 20oz carpet (color 004000 Multitude), Armstrong Dutch Delft VCT (color 51916), and Johnsonite 4" 1/8 Gauge vinyl cove base (color charcoal), along with rubber transitions. Installation must adhere to safety standards and OSHA requirements. The contractor will be responsible for the safe conduct of their personnel and proper disposal of waste, with a dumpster provided by the City. Work is expected to be performed Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and must be completed within thirty (30) calendar days after equipment delivery. A one-time service agreement is anticipated for this project.
