Description
The Texas Military Department (TMD) requires turn-key sewer line repair and replacement services for two locations at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA)-Lackland Air Force Base (AFB), Texas. Services include replacing existing cast iron pipe with new Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) piping. The work involves excavation, demolition of existing piping and sidewalk areas, installation of new PVC piping, backfilling, and patching of roadways and sidewalks. Specific work is detailed for Building 962 and Building 1151, including excavation depths, lengths, and material specifications for repairs and replacements. Contractors are responsible for obtaining necessary permits, including excavation permits and hot work permits, and for managing hazardous waste and recyclables according to environmental regulations.
