Description
Allegany County, Maryland is soliciting sealed bids for the Kingspan Rail Expansion Project - Phase I Sitework, Contract No. ACECD-02-0626. The project involves sitework related to a rail expansion. Contract documents, including specifications and drawings, are available for viewing electronically at http://alleganygov.org/Bids.aspx. Bidders must purchase these documents directly from Allegany County Economic and Community Development to be eligible to submit a bid and to receive addenda and notices. The cost for a set of plans and specifications is $50.00, payable to the Allegany County Commissioners. Documents can also be purchased at the Pre-Bid Meeting. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check for at least five percent (5%) of the base bid amount, payable to the Allegany County Commissioners. Bids are valid for 90 days after opening. A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for Monday, June 15, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. in Room 230 of the Allegany County Office Complex.
